A huge party came for the SpongeBob household, as recently, the SpongeBob granny turned 82!
Marion Ross voices the famous character of SpongeBobs’ grandma in the hit animated television series, SpongeBob SquarePants, and the role has brought her accolades from all across the world.
Marion, a resident of Los Angeles, is a grandmother in real life, and finds her role in the SpongeBob SquarePants episodes so apt, that she has no intentions of retiring in the near future.
The brilliant actor seems to be thrilled in the company of her two grandchildren. She spends at least an entire day in a week with her grandchildren, one of whom is 20-year-old, and the other one is just nine months.
Marion feels sad, when she compares grandparents of yesteryears with the grandparents of today. According to her, grandparents of today are so entangled in their own lives, that the grandchildren usually miss out on their delicacies, like Pot Roast!
Marion takes immense pride in the superior cooking abilities of her husband, and talked about the frequent family get-togethers, which gives him the opportunity to cook for the entire family.
She loves her guests so much, that she has brought a lot of indoor games for her place, ensuring that guests love to be at her place.
The SpongeBob Granny loves her closely knit family, and believes in getting rid of the generation gap by accepting her grandson’s girlfriend, and letting her take part in all the games at her place.
Marion also remains fascinated by the next generation actors, who at times do disappoint her. But then, this granny has accepted all this as an undeniable part of life.
She talks about the young actor and co-star Kayla Ewell, saying that she is good-looking, mature, disciplined, and experienced at the same time. Take note Kayla, for these are some words to cherish!
